CGM hosted yet another Pastoral Care Conference in Naga City as a response to the much-needed seminar requested by our brethren in that part of the country. Ninety-eight (98) pastors and lay people from 17 towns namely: Bombon, Bula, Calabanga, Canaman, Lagonoy, Libmanan, Maganao, Minalabac, nabua, Pamplona, Pasacao, Pili, san Fernando, Sipokal, Siruma, Tinambac and Naga City,  gave time to attend the said conference. The team consisted of CGM President Engr. Armando P. Bagunu, Admin Manager, Ninch P. Estrella, Church Assistance Coordinator, Pastor Lito de Guzman, Bro. Dave Majam, Pastor Cris Lozandi and Pastor LA Cruz and Mrs. Tess de Guzman.



Volunteer from Bethel Christian Church took charge of the registration Each participant was given a hand-out, a T-shirt from our partners in Singapore, and some other giveaway items.
Resident pastor of Bethel Christian Church, Pastor Bob gave the opening remarks while Engr. Armando welcomed the participants and later on introduced the speakers.

The Youth from the said church also led the group in worship through singing.

 

The men from the team rendered a special number, a familiar hymn, “Why Have You Chosen Me.”
Pastor Lito de Guzman gave the morning devotion in the book of Genesis.

 

Pastor Cris Lozandi talked about, “The Pastor and His Family.” It was a good reminder to all that the most important ministry a pastor has is his home, family and marriage.
Pastor LA Cruz gave the first message. He spoke about “The Pastor and His Ministry.” He reminded the pastors that they are where they are only because of God’s grace.
Pastor Lito de Guzman gave a very interesting and lively talk about finances, “The Pastor and His Finances.” He shared how our money is not our own and we are only to manage what God has entrusted us.

Each one were able to pray for one another and as a group.


 
 
Twenty (20) Bibles - 12 ESV Global Study Bible and 4 Poimen Bible for Pastors - were given as special prizes as well as 12 copies of The Book of Matthew.

Lastly, each participant was given five (5) books each to take home.

The participants enjoyed the timely messages they heard and requested to have it duplicated in three (3) cities in the Bicol region.  All praises and glory to God!
